Three incredible musicians, and friends, have chosen a powerful selection of music for the evening, including “I Wish It So” by Blitzstein, “Our Children” from Ragtime, “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” and a special ensemble finale. Claire Kuttler is a Davenport native and soprano based in New York City. Claire has performed throughout the country including at the renowned Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall. Chris Nelson is a talented musician known for his improvisational talent. He is the organist and director of music at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Davenport, and the college organist at Augustana College. Nathan Windt is director of choral activities at St. Ambrose University. He is an accomplished conductor of opera who brings professional choral and solo singing experience throughout the country. After the performance, we’ll gather for baklava and Dubai chocolate prepared by Tapestry Farms colleagues Fatima Hussein and Betul Qamizou, with table flower arrangements from Hortense Zayaro.
